So, we said goodbye to the flowers of 2014 with one of my most fave jobs of the whole year, the naming ceremony for little Jasper at The Electric House (http://www.electrichouse.com) in Portobello. Such a cool space to decorate with florals, though the styling was more ‘little boysy’ i.e. less trad ‘flowery flowers’. Instead, cool berries, booties and cotton wool were placed in mismatched glass vases as well as a gorg fireplace arrangement complete with copper ‘J’ (for Jasper!) and fluffy booties! Divine! Jasper’s Mum and Dad, Elaine and Patric, were one of my very first clients. I did their wedding flowers at Shoreditch House (https://wwwshoreditchhouse.com) back in 2012, so it was a delight to help them celebrate the arrival of this cutest of little muffins! Welcome to the world lovely Jasper!
And for the final act of 2014, Christmas Wreaths for all the lovely clients we’ve worked with this year…Nicki Macfarlane, Peppermint Diva Events, Maids to Measure as well as the journalists that gave us such amazing coverage at Conde Nast Brides Magazine. Sore hands and tired eyes but we think it was worth it….
Now looking forward to an exciting year ahead…weddings and events in London, Northumberland and Amsterdam as well as a new studio and a pop up shop! Watch this flower filled space! x
