London Wedding Venues

Wedding venues in London deserve an entire book, not a journal post. There are endless wonderful options for any couple wanting to celebrate their day.  Whether it’s a deconsecrated church, an English Heritage house, a Zoo, a laid back pub or smart restaurant we’ve worked in many of them and can probably answer any questions you might have.

Wedding and event work in London is not the easiest though. Driving, parking, unloading, delivery and set up are fraught with anxiety of heavy traffic, parking tickets and worse.  Florists will add on a delivery and collection charge depending on where your venue is – ULEZ, congestion and parking all have to be considered.

But as we said, the other side of celebrating in London is the sheer choice of venue – there are way, way too many to mention here but some of our favourites have been St Stephen’s Trust in Hampstead, Fredericks in Islingon, The Ivy Soho, London Zoo, The Engine Rooms in East Finchley and Kensington Roof Gardens.  Below is a little more info on some of the more recent venues we’ve flowered.

St Stephens Trust

A stunning deconsecrated church in the heart of Hampstead.  This stunning and unique venue offers the opportunity to hold the whole celebration there. With it’s a grand altar, fairy light decorated pillars, pretty window sills and plenty of space to entertain hundreds of guests it’s a real gem in one the most exclusive areas of North London.  Contact Patrick Anthony at ststephenstrst@aol.com.

Fredericks Islington (www.fredericks.co.uk)

Fredericks is icon of North London wedding venues. It’s perfect for couples who want a smart city feel to their day, but with a lovely English garden backdrop.  The restaurant is licensed to carry out wedding ceremonies and with it’s crisp white table cloths, modern art and stunning food it’s the ultimate location for the most special of days.  Contact is Laura Nyavie at laura@fredericks.co.uk

Hicce Hart (www.hiccehart.co.uk)

One of North London’s newest venues, this boozer has been at the top of Penton Street for many years.  It’s now the second of the Hicce eateries (the first being Coal Drops Yard).  The private room upstairs is laid back affair.  It has an intimate, cosy feel, lounging sofas, a beautiful fireplace and it’s own private bar. Contact is Elly at reservations@hiccehart.co.uk.

This is a teeny tiny snapshot of the venues available in this great city. Our ideas for beautiful floral decor know no end.  So, whether you’re still looking, or just found your perfect wedding venue, do get in touch.  Wedding flowers are what we do and it’s what we absolutely adore talking about. xx
